Mon-Thu, 3pm - 1am Position Summary We are seeking a Packaging Technician (2nd Shift) to support the packaging of pharmaceutical products in a cGMP-regulated environment. This role involves operating packaging equipment, ensuring compliance with batch records and FDA guidelines, and maintaining accurate documentation. The position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with growth potential based on performance and business needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor packaging equipment (fillers, cappers, labelers, cartoners, shrink wrappers, etc.) to ensure efficient production. Assist with equipment set-up, changeovers, and test runs for various products and batch sizes. Accurately complete and maintain batch records and other required documentation. Follow SOPs, cGMPs, FDA standards, and safety procedures at all times. Collaborate with production staff to meet quality and production goals. Perform general housekeeping and safety compliance within the packaging area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous pharma packaging experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
