You will also be responsible for identifying ingredients that require dilution, conducting in-process batch inspections, and following detailed procedures to maintain quality standards. Responsibilities Retrieve and accurately measure ingredients using scales. Mix various ingredients and identify solids for melting using hot plates. Dilute ingredients appropriately and record raw materials usage. Verify the weight and contents of raw materials and conduct in-process batch inspections. Document all process events by following established procedures and policies. Process liquid, powders, and utilize homogenizing and spray dry methods of compounding. Follow standard batch instructions to accurately weigh dyes and other substances. Check for consistency in batches and measure the viscosity of mixtures. Take samples of batches for laboratory testing. Adhere to food safety guidelines and accurately document work completed. Wear a uniform and proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Essential Skills Chemical handling Compounding experience (6 months to 1 year in powder/raw materials) Experience in a GMP environment Willingness to follow safety and sanitation protocols Experience handling raw materials Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Dayton, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
