We are currently experiencing rapid growth and seeking immediate help in our production department.
The Position:
Machine Operator Summary:
This full-time position entails maintaining the operation of a paper bag manufacturing machine. The major aspects of the job include machine setup operation, changeover, repair and troubleshooting equipment when necessary.Key Responsibilities:
Setup and operate manufacturing machinery according to established procedures and safety standards Monitor machine performance during production runs and make adjustments as needed Inspect finished products for quality assurance and conformance to specifications Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal operation Troubleshoot basic machine issues and escalate more complex problems to maintenance team Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders Maintain accurate production logs and report data on output, downtime, and defects Follow all company safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Assist with packaging, labeling, and staging of finished products for shipment Support onboarding and training of new machine operators as needed Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs All other duties as assignedPosition Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred including knowledge of working with HMI/MMI 1 or more years of Forklift experience Ability to read technical documents and use measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if neededHours:
Must be able to work 12-hour day shift, night shift/ Rotating Schedules including Weekends and Overtime. The specific hours are determined by management.Benefits:
