Packaging Operator Job Opportunity! Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the Manufacturing and Production team, supporting high-speed automated packaging operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and excellent teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:

Day Shift | 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM | 12.5-hour shifts | 2/2/3 rotation What's the Job? Operate state-of-the-art automated toothpaste packaging lines running at speeds of up to 450 tubes per minute. Handle packaging materials and finished goods, including cartons, labels, pallets, caps, wrapping materials, and other production supplies. Perform routine quality checks, document production activities, and complete material transactions using computerized systems such as SAP. Maintain a clean and safe work area while performing autonomous maintenance and assisting maintenance technicians with preventive maintenance activities. Follow manufacturing procedures and safety requirements while identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and maintain production efficiency. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED. Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2/2/3 rotation schedule, including alternating weekends. Basic computer skills, including data entry, email, file access, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Ability to routinely lift up to 55 lbs. and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods. Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred; experience with machinery, equipment maintenance, changeovers, pallet jacks, or forklifts is a plus. What's in it for me?
