40 hours per week Nesco Resource is seeking Machine Operator -Trainee for our client in Elmira NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual who is interested in developing valuable machine operation and manufacturing skills. You will receive hands-on training while learning to operate a variety of equipment in a clean, well-maintained, and safe manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Learn to safely operate various machines within the Department Operate equipment including the sheeter, trimmer, and forklift Load and unload paperboard and other materials Monitor equipment and production processes Follow established safety and operating procedures Perform basic machine adjustments as trained Maintain a clean and organized work area Work as part of a team to meet production and quality goals Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Mechanical aptitude required Ability to learn and operate manufacturing equipment Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
