Job Description

Under the direction of the supervisor, the blender will manufacture a variety of dry powders within set specifications. The Blender is responsible for the quality of blends, accurate completion of all paperwork, sanitation of blender and blending area, and meeting all sample analysis requirements.
Responsibilities:
Verify all the raw materials are present and accurate in terms of quantity and lot information before starting the blending process Add reach raw material in the specified order according to the blending instructions Discharge materials and powders into suitable containers and document the process Follow up blending instructions Maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times Comply and adhere to all GMP's policies Accurately measure conversions and ingredients Clean and sanitize all equipment according to GMP standards Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment with blending powdered food or liquid materials Ability to use calculator and other measurement instruments Basic computer skills a plus Flexibility for overtime when needed Must be able to read/write English Ability to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timely Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training
