The dock employee will be responsible for safely and efficiently maintaining the cylinder dock and assisting customers with their cylinder needs. The dock employee will load/unload cylinders, complete cylinder inspections, pull/pack customer orders and other duties/responsibilities as needed. Job duties/ responsibilities include, but not limited to the following: Must understand the hazards of various gases; size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks Provides assistance with loading trucks and off-loading trucks in preparation for deliveries and transfers Ensures all required pre-fill/post-fill inspections valid and completed before cylinders are released to customers. Abides by a safe and compliant culture, correcting unsafe acts or conditions without delay. Inspect cylinders for defects/test date issues to ensure compliance with government/company policies Paint cylinders to adhere to Awisco's cylinder color code system. Perform other related duties as necessary Physical Demands and Work Environment Continually required to bend, stoop, and kneel Continually required to talk or hear Frequently required to lift/push/carry items more than 50 pounds Continually exposed to outside weather conditions Frequently exposed to loud noise Qualifications Excellent time-management skills. Must be driven and team oriented. Bilingual- English/ Spanish preferred

Schedule:

Mon-Fri, 8:30pm-5:00pm,

Rotating Saturdays:

8am-12pm Employees must be willing to work at least one Saturday per month between the hours of 8am-12pm
