Job Description

EESG Custom Apparel, a busy custom shop in Mattituck, is hiring an experienced embroidery machine operator to join our production team. If you know your way around commercial multi-head embroidery machines and take pride in a clean, accurate sew-out, we'd love to talk. This is a hands-on production role running our embroidery floor day to day. Our digitizing and production files are handled for you — your focus is running the machines and delivering quality work. What you'll do Set up, run, and monitor commercial multi-head embroidery machines Hoop garments and materials accurately and efficiently Load design files, select threads, and manage color changes Watch sew-outs for quality and catch issues before they become problems Handle routine machine maintenance, thread breaks, and basic troubleshooting Read and complete work orders accurately, with attention to placement and detail Keep a neat, organized, and safe work station What we're looking for Hands-on experience running commercial embroidery machines (multi-head a strong plus) Comfortable hooping a range of garments and materials Detail-oriented, with a good eye for placement, tension, and quality Dependable and punctual, with pride in the finished product Comfortable on your feet and able to lift up to 40 lbs, with heavier items handled as a team lift Basic English or bilingual English/Spanish both welcome Able to start soon and work hours that overlap with our current lead operator for training
Pay:
$18-$24/hr depending on experience, with room to grow.
Schedule:
Full-time or part-time — we'll build a schedule around the right person. Day shift, Monday-Friday, occasional weekends as needed. In person, Mattituck NY.
