This position offers $20.00 per hour and follows a 12-hour rotating day schedule, making it a strong opportunity for individuals who are comfortable working in a production-driven manufacturing environment. This role is best suited for someone who can follow instructions carefully, stay organized, and take pride in keeping equipment and work areas clean and running properly.
The Day-to-Day:
Ensure the extrusion process runs consistently at standard speed and output on one or more assigned lines Operate one or more extrusion lines while producing quality products and meeting production goals Maintain product safety standards throughout the manufacturing process Work closely with team members to support safety, quality, and daily production targets Notify the supervisor or extrusion lead when more advanced machine adjustments are needed Clean and inspect machinery as required during each roll change Perform process preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning chromed rollers, cleaning die lips, and changing screens Complete and document operator-level preventive maintenance on equipment Accurately print and apply roll labels to every roll produced Ensure each label includes the first and last name of the operator assigned to the machine Keep equipment and surrounding work areas clean, orderly, and production-ready
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Previous extrusion experience is a plus Ability to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily Reasonable physical ability to handle the demands of the role Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Pay Rate:
$20.00 /per hr
Schedule:
12 hrs - rotating days
