  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator for the full-time weekend shift to join our manufacturing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with advanced manufacturing tools, and a commitment to maintaining strict quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic production environment while honing your technical skills. Responsibilities Operate and monitor machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, and press brake machines to meet production targets. Set up machines according to specifications, including programming with Fanuc controls, CAM programming, or CAD drawings. Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to ensure product quality. Perform troubleshooting and minor maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and technical drawings for accurate fabrication. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment, ensuring proper materials handling and storage. Assist in assembly line operations, including tooling setup, fabrication, welding, or packaging as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols and factory standards. Document production data accurately for quality control and process improvement initiatives. Requirements Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC machines, stamping presses, or flexo presses within a manufacturing facility. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and use precision measuring tools. Familiarity with Fanuc controls, CNC programming, CAM programming, CAD software like SolidWorks or similar. Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Knowledge of quality control procedures including GD&T standards. Hands-on experience with hand tools, tooling setup, fabrication techniques, welding, and assembly processes. Factory or warehouse experience emphasizing safety procedures and materials handling. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
