Screw Machine Maintenance Operator - 1st Shift Pay rate: $19/hr-$21.00

Job Summary You'll perform machine setup and run Acme and Davenport screw machines in a positive, energetic, employee‑centered environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined operator or setup technician who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and producing high‑quality parts. Roles & Responsibilities Operate screw machines: load bar stock, fill fluids, remove chips Perform machine setups: tooling changes, tool sharpening, tool adjustments Ensure all work meets quality specifications Assist other operators with tool changes, troubleshooting, and maintenance Help train others on screw machine operation and setup Support production needs as required Qualifications Relevant experience: maintenance, mechanic, automotive mechanic, or trade school Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) Mechanically inclined — comfortable with tools, machinery, and diagnosing issues Strong reasoning ability — able to think through problems and make decisions Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 35 lbs Regular standing, bending, stooping, and machine‑side work Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
