The Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring the Food Safety Program is followed, quality of the product, production efficiency, safety, line startup & shutdown, prepping, cleaning, maintaining the workplace, and promoting a team environment while meeting the daily goals. The machine operator runs a specific piece of equipment that is assigned to them, and has greater responsilbities among the team to ensure that the required product quality is being met and the machines are being ran within specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The machine operator is responsible for running and doing basic troubleshooting of equipment. This includes but is not limited to ensuring area is safe and clean, all machine guards are present on the machine, all temperatures are at the right spec, machine speeds are correct, product meets quality standards, and communication to the supervisor is a must.
