•Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Waterjet Operator on behalf of a leading manufacturing firm in the Stow, Ohio area. In this high-impact position, you will serve as the primary in-house technical expert, operating and maintaining a high-tech CNC Waterjet cutting system to support custom-engineered fabrication projects. Responsibilities -
Machine Operation:
Program, set up, and operate a CNC Waterjet cutting system to manufacture custom-engineered metal and sheet metal components.
Production Prep & Nesting:
Read and interpret engineering drawings to prepare and optimize part nesting for maximum yield and throughput.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished parts using precision tools to verify dimensional accuracy and strict quality standards.
Maintenance & Upkeep:
Perform routine preventative maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting on the Waterjet machinery and work area.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner directly with Engineering, Stockroom, Purchasing, and Production teams to refine workflows and drive continuous process improvement. Qualifications -
Technical Experience:
Prior experience operating CNC equipment (Waterjet, laser cutters, CNC routers, or machining centers).
Blueprint Literacy:
Strong ability to read complex engineering drawings and blue prints; basic mastery of fine measurements (32nds and 64ths of an inch) using tape measures and shop tools.
Fabrication Knowledge:
Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication tools, equipment, and shop safety procedures.
Physical & General Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 30lbs, present on-site daily, and communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
Mindset:
Strong mechanical aptitude, high attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously with process ownership.
