NEW STARTING RATE

$18.00 per hour! $18.50 within 90 days of employment

CURRENT SCHEDULE

Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts

Overtime:

Fridays as needed

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position will carry out tasks in our manufacturing facility within the extrusion department. The candidate will be responsible for operating extrusion equipment in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring product quality, and supporting production goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate extrusion equipment according to standard operating procedures. Monitor machines during operation to ensure efficiency and product quality. Complete production paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Perform quality checks and report any defects or inconsistencies to the Supervisor or Quality team. Assist with setup and changeover of extrusion equipment to minimize downtime. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions immediately. Support team members to meet daily production goals. Assist in inventory processes as required. Participate in training and follow proper procedures within the department. Perform all job responsibilities within the Extrusion department as noted on checklist. Communicate effectively with Supervisors and team members regarding production issues.

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to move or lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in wet conditions where shoes may get wet. Basic understanding of the cure process and ability to complete required checks. Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Ability to read and measure hoses using calipers and tape measure. Strong attention to detail for quality assurance. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with good communication skills. Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods of time. Must be willing to work overtime as required. Willingness and ability to work in a warehouse with minimal temperature control, including hot and cold environments. Must follow all safety procedures. Experience in a manufacturing or extrusion environment is preferred. Perform all other job duties as assigned.
