Extrusion Operator

Job Description:

We are hiring an Extrusion Operator for a manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for operating extrusion equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining product quality and supporting production goals.

Pay:

$18/hour

Shift:

Mon-Thur 5:40AM-4:00PM, Fri 5:40 AM-2:00 PM, Sat 4:40 AM-1:00

PM Responsibilities:

Operate extrusion equipment following standard operating procedures Monitor machinery during production to ensure efficiency and quality Complete production paperwork accurately and on time Perform quality checks and report defects or inconsistencies Assist with machine setup and changeovers Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions Support production goals and work effectively with team members Assist with inventory and other departmental duties as needed Communicate production issues with supervisors and team members

Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in wet, hot, or cold warehouse environments Basic math, reading, and writing skills Ability to use calipers and tape measures Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to stand for extended periods Willingness to work overtime when needed Manufacturing or extrusion experience preferred
