Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
An Operations Intern performs various electronic and mechanical operations and assemblies by following work instructions using hand tools and other equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform assembly operations per documented procedures and applicable standards. Follow all safety and ESD guidelines. Remove support material and sand DDM printed parts per work instructions and training. Use hand or power tools as needed. Follow all safety requirements and use personal protective gear as required. Ensure good organization and cleanliness of warehouse area. Contribute to building a culture of cooperation and teamwork. Identify potential problem areas and make suggestions for improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience On a path to achieving high school diploma (or equivalent) Intern level position Skills and Abilities Required Basic computer skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to write legibly for completing records Ability to use hand tools and equipment after proper training Ability to complete tasks correctly and in a timely manner after proper training Preferred Familiarity with working safely within a plant environment During the school year times may be adjusted to fit with Co-Op responsibilities and classes
