Job Description

Tsubaki Kabelschlepp America, Inc is seeking a Machine Operator to support manufacturing of high-quality cable carriers, flexible cables, and machine protection systems. You will set up, operate, and monitor production machinery, ensuring components meet quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include reading production orders, performing basic measurements, adjusting machine settings, and completing routine maintenance and documentation. You will troubleshoot minor issues, collaborate with team members, and follow 5S and continuous improvement practices in a fast-paced, innovative, and team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machines for cable carriers and related products Read and follow production orders, drawings, and specifications Inspect parts using basic measuring tools to ensure quality standards Adjust machine settings to maintain productivity and product accuracy Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance Record production data and maintain accurate documentation Troubleshoot minor mechanical or process issues and escalate when needed Follow safety procedures, 5 S, and continuous improvement practices Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets Required Skills Machine operation Blueprint/technical drawing reading Use of calipers and micrometers Basic mechanical troubleshooting Quality inspection Preventive maintenance Production documentation5 S and lean manufacturing basics Safety procedures and OSHA awareness Basic computer skills for production reporting
