2997543962-2 Apply for this job now Job Description As a Shipping Utility at Cargill, you will support daily shipping operations within our Food & Beverage supply chain, ensuring safe, accurate, and on time movement of products. Working in the Shipping, Logistics & Procurement department, you will pick, stage, load, and document outbound orders while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards. You'll operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, update inventory systems, and coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to meet customer and production schedules. Responsibilities Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer and intercompany orders for shipment Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently Load and unload trucks, verifying product counts, lot codes, and condition Prepare and apply shipping labels, documentation, and bills of lading per company standards Use warehouse management or ERP systems to record inventory movements and transactions Perform cycle counts and help investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Follow all food safety, quality, and hygienic handling procedures in a cold and dry warehouse environment Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard free shipping and dock area Communicate with logistics, procurement, and production teams to meet shipping schedules Participate in safety programs, equipment inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives Required Skills Warehouse operations Shipping and receiving Forklift operation Pallet jack and material-handling equipment operation Inventory control and cycle counting Use of warehouse management or ERP systems Basic computer and data entry skills Bill of lading and shipping documentation Food safety and hygiene practices Workplace safety and OSHA compliance
