• Contract Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery to produce high-quality components and products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with CNC programming and automation systems, and experience with precision measurement tools. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient production processes while ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and fabrication equipment. Program and troubleshoot CNC machinery using CAD/CAM software, Fanuc controls, and other automation systems. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure precise fabrication. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify dimensions and quality of finished parts. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with inventory management in the warehouse. Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to meet strict manufacturing standards. Assist in tooling setup and fabrication tasks including welding and assembly line support. Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity. Qualifications Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or flexo presses within a factory or manufacturing facility. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in tooling setup, fabrication processes, welding, and materials handling. Proficiency with CNC programming (including Fanuc controls), CAD software such as SolidWorks or CAD programs, CAM programming, and blueprint reading skills. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable. Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers accurately. Knowledge of GD&T principles for quality assurance purposes. Hands-on experience with factory safety procedures and use of hand tools. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting. Prior warehouse or manufacturing facility experience is preferred. Ability to work effectively on an assembly line while maintaining high standards of quality.
