The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial equipment, including CNC machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, and other precision machinery. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints, and the ability to interpret production documents accurately. The successful applicant will ensure that all manufacturing processes meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic production environment where precision and efficiency are paramount. Duties Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, CNC programming, and CAM programming tools to produce high-quality parts in accordance with technical specifications. Set up and adjust machinery such as stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to optimize performance. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Conduct dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify part specifications. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment while adhering to safety standards. Perform quality control inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards. Maintain accurate records of machine operation data, production output, and inspection results. Assist in assembly line tasks when necessary, utilizing hand tools and fabrication techniques. Follow safety procedures rigorously to uphold a safe working environment for all team members. Skills Extensive experience operating CNC machining centers including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming software. Proficiency with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as SolidWorks for interpreting technical drawings. Knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and maintenance practices. Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings accurately; familiar with shop math and factory measurement techniques. Skilled in using precision measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments. Familiarity with safety standards in manufacturing environments; committed to maintaining a safe workspace. Experience with stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, CAM programming, and fabrication processes. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in factory or manufacturing facility settings. Ability to interpret production documents effectively for quality assurance purposes. Capable of operating forklifts safely; understanding of materials handling procedures. Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations related to machining tasks. Knowledge of packaging processes and assembly line operations is a plus.
