In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting machines to produce precision metal components. Your expertise in machine operation, technical drawings, and safety standards will ensure high-quality output and efficient production processes. Responsibilities Set up CNC laser cutting machines according to detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and production specifications Program CNC laser equipment using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files, CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, and CNC programming techniques Monitor machine operation during production runs, adjusting parameters for optimal performance and quality Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documents to ensure precise fabrication of parts Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of CNC laser machinery to minimize downtime Conduct dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards Ensure compliance with safety standards in production environments while maintaining a clean and organized work area Requirements Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines in a manufacturing or factory setting Strong knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming, and machine operation principles Familiarity with Fanuc controls or similar industrial automation systems Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes such as stamping presses, press brake machines, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers Experience with shop math, factory materials handling, packaging, and assembly line procedures Skilled in using precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, shop math skills, and GD&T standards Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and industrial equipment troubleshooting skills Ability to operate hand tools and basic fabrication equipment efficiently Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in a manufacturing setting Join our team as a CNC Laser Operator where your technical expertise will drive precision manufacturing excellence.
