Looking to hire asap for our form/fill machine in our OKC location.

Job Summary:

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining various types of form/fill/seal machines in a small manufacturing environment. This role ensures the efficient and safe operation of machines to meet production targets and quality standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Set up and adjust machines according to specifications and production requirements. Monitor machines during operation to ensure the proper functioning and identify any malfunctions or deviations from standards. Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products. Conduct regular inspections of machines and perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts. Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Record production data, including quantities produced, machine downtime, and any quality issues. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth production flow. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Proficient operation of manufacturing machines and equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams. Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Basic computer skills for data entry and machine control. Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to adhere to them. Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Previous experience as a machine operator or in a related manufacturing role is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Manual dexterity to operate machinery and use hand tools. Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. Ability to work in a noisy environment.
