We are currently seeking a Parts Processor for our Shields Manufacturing facility in Tualatin Oregon. (On-site position)Precinmac offers a highly competitive total compensation package, including:

Perform processing steps including, but not limited to, graining, hardware installation, masking, deburring, and cleaning.
Prepare chemical process solutions and baths for pre-treating and chemical cleaning of parts.
Inspect manufactured components for conformance to specifications.
Ensure that standard procedures are followed in all aspects of work including tool setup and operation, process verification, product inspection, documentation, and material handling.
Operate hand and air tools for parts processing; operate forklift as required.
Ensure documentation, including certifications, work orders, process sheets, etc. are kept in order and filled out completely.
Maintain safe work environment conditions by observing processing employee practices and correcting them when necessary.
Ensure that parts processing adheres to quality standards.
Assist Receiving and Materials Management with tasks such as: loading and unloading material; collecting scrap material for recycling.
Assist in inventory cycle counts.
Assist with packaging of customer orders.
Deliver and pick up of parts and materials.
Basic math or industrial mathematics desired. Good written and verbal skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Ability to set use or setup various measuring devices.
Strong problem solving skills. Work SettingA machining environment with frequent noise in an indoor seasonally air-conditioned and heated environment. Combination of standing/sitting for extended periods; fine motor skills with frequent hand and arm movement; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Personal protective equipment (safety glasses, ear protection) may be required. May operate moving equipment (forklift) as required to perform essential job functions.

Summary:
Under general supervision, carry out a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment to prepare parts or subassemblies for the next step in the production process including outside processing (anodizing, powder coating), internal assembly and/or packaging.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Manually remove machining imperfections from parts utilizing the operators skill and knowledge to efficiently perform the manual blending, polishing and creation of edge breaks on precision components.Perform processing steps including, but not limited to, graining, hardware installation, masking, deburring, and cleaning.

Secondary Duties:
Assist Shop Floor Control with tasks, such as, cutting material and overall facility care and maintenance.Assist Receiving and Materials Management with tasks such as: loading and unloading material; collecting scrap material for recycling.
Assist in inventory cycle counts.
Assist with packaging of customer orders.
Deliver and pick up of parts and materials.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail.Basic math or industrial mathematics desired. Good written and verbal skills.
