Monday-Friday, 1st Shift About the Opportunity InterAction24 is recruiting a Machining Operator for an established manufacturing company in Bellefonte, PA. This is a hands-on production position working with manufacturing equipment used to machine, process, and finish small manufactured components. Candidates do not need to be highly experienced CNC machinists to be considered. Previous experience working in a manufacturing, production, or machine-shop environment is preferred, and training will be provided on the company's specific equipment and processes. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic manufacturing experience who is mechanically comfortable, dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in developing additional machining and production skills. Responsibilities Set up as needed and operate production and machining equipment. Process materials through various machining operations, including: Lapping OD grinding Core drilling Dicing Polishing Follow work instructions and production requirements provided by the Manufacturing Manager or Shift Supervisor. Complete required production paperwork, including travel tickets, process log sheets, stock tags, and related documentation. Perform dimensional and visual inspections using appropriate measuring and inspection equipment. Monitor parts throughout the machining process for quality and accuracy. Move materials from work-in-process areas to the appropriate workstation. Clean and prepare parts for machining operations. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Perform basic equipment maintenance as needed. Handle production materials weighing approximately 10-50 lbs. Follow established manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures. Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, machine-operation, or machine-shop environment preferred. Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment is a plus. Previous experience with grinding, lapping, polishing, dicing, drilling, or similar processes is a plus, but not required . Basic math skills. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow written work instructions and production procedures. Willingness and ability to learn manufacturing equipment and processes. Willingness to learn measuring and inspection devices. Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections. Mechanical aptitude and comfort working around production machinery. Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a manufacturing team. Ability to lift and move production materials as required. Due to applicable export-control requirements, candidates must meet the eligibility requirements specified for the position, including qualifying as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or individual with protected status.Pay:
