Production Assembler /
Soldering Technician Location:
Bellefonte, PA Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift; PKI has flexibility on start/end times Position Summary Client is seeking a hands-on Production Assembler with experience in small-part soldering and precision assembly. This position will perform detailed assembly work on small manufactured components, with a particular emphasis on soldering and lead attachment. The ideal candidate has good manual dexterity, is comfortable working with small and delicate parts, and has previous experience performing soldering or precision assembly in a manufacturing or production environment. Responsibilities Perform soldering and lead attachment on small components Complete detailed, hands-on assembly requiring good manual dexterity Work with molds and fixtures during the assembly process Perform potting/encapsulation-type assembly work as required Handle small and delicate components carefully and accurately Follow established manufacturing and assembly instructions Maintain consistent quality during repetitive precision work Perform or assist with basic testing/inspection when required Maintain an organized workstation and follow production procedures Work collaboratively with production personnel and supervisors Qualifications Previous soldering and/or precision assembly experience Experience soldering small components or attaching leads/wires strongly preferred Strong hand-eye coordination and fine manual dexterity Comfortable working with small, delicate components Experience with molds, fixtures, potting or similar manufacturing processes is a plus Manufacturing, electronics assembly, component assembly, medical-device assembly, sensor assembly, cable/wire assembly or similar experience can translate well Dependable attendance and ability to work consistently in an onsite manufacturing environment Ability to follow detailed work instructions Must be a U.S. Citizen due to facility/export-control requirementsPay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per weekBenefits:
