Job Description
Green Valley Packing is a 100 year old family owned meat processor located in Claysville, PA. Known as the makers of the local "Albert's" brand products, we also create a variety of products for customers all across the country. As we are going through an unprecedented period of change and growth, we are seeking motivated individuals to expand our team. Applicants are not required to have industry experience. All we require is a desire and willingness to learn.
Machine Operator's Training:
- Gain a thorough understanding of food safety principles and documentation requirements.
- Learn assembly, disassembly, and sanitation process for machines.
- Learn how to effectively operate food processing equipment by understanding how and why.
- Learn how to read and use batching formulas.
Machine Operator's Responsibilities:
- Sanitize, inspect, and assemble parts of machine.
- Complete morning paperwork.
- Review batching sheets and plan with team.
- Operate one or more machines effectively.
- Minimal to moderate physical labor associated with loading, unloading, and cleaning machines. Why would you choose to join us?

- Read, write, and do basic math.
- Follow and occasionally give detailed instructions.
- Stand and work for 8-10 hours a day.
- Work in refrigerated environment (wearing warm clothing, of course).
