Overview We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team across all shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial equipment and machinery used in plastics production, including plastics blow molding, injection molding, extrusion, and machining processes. Your expertise will ensure the efficient, safe, and high-quality output of products while adhering to strict safety protocols and quality standards. Responsibilities Operate and monitor various manufacturing machinery such as press brake machines, CNC lathes, robotic systems, and plastics extrusion equipment to produce high-quality components. Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments and dimensional measurement techniques to ensure products meet specifications. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments on industrial equipment to optimize performance and minimize downtime. Handle materials safely using hand tools, forklifts, and materials handling equipment to support production flow. Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe work environment and prevent accidents. Assist in setup and calibration of machinery for different production runs, ensuring proper operation according to engineering specifications. Document production data accurately and communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly. Support assembly processes as needed, utilizing basic math skills and mechanical knowledge for precise fitting and assembly tasks. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on machine performance and operational challenges. Requirements Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as plastics blow molding, injection molding, CNC lathes, or press brake machines within a plastics production environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and robotic systems effectively. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Experience with quality inspection methods including dimensional measurements and the use of precision measuring instruments. Ability to handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment; warehouse experience is a plus. Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial equipment operation and materials handling. Basic math skills necessary for measurement calculations, setup adjustments, and quality control assessments. Competence in using hand tools, measurement tools, and machining equipment for assembly or repair tasks. Prior plastics production experience involving extrusion or injection molding processes is highly desirable. Strong work ethic with the ability to work effectively across all shifts in a fast-paced environment.
