Industrial Paint / Spray Operator responsible for hand spraying materials, measuring coating quantities, operating spray equipment, and supporting production quality within a manufacturing environment. Job Requirements Experience operating production equipment. Experience working with paint, coatings, or spray-applied materials. Experience with hand spraying techniques. Knowledge of spray equipment operation and adjustment. Ability to measure coating or material quantities accurately. Basic mathematical skills, including board footage and lineal footage calculations. Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ability to work with precision measuring requirements. Ability to lift approximately 20-30 lbs. as required. Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator, safety glasses, gloves, arm sleeves, face shield, and hearing protection when applicable. Preferred Skills Experience in an industrial painting or coating environment. Experience with production spray applications. Experience adjusting hand spray equipment for material flow and application requirements. Experience supporting SOP revisions or process improvements. Experience working with high-value production equipment or work centers. Job Responsibilities Operate hand spraying equipment using consistent application techniques. Apply paint or coating materials according to production specifications. Adjust spray equipment based on material and process requirements. Measure and mix material quantities to match established standards. Perform calculations related to board footage and lineal footage. Follow established SOPs for production and coating processes. Support revisions to SOPs when process or quality improvements are identified. Inspect sprayed materials for conformance to quality requirements. Wear required PPE while performing coating and production activities. Support other production work areas as assigned.
