First Shift (6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.) or Second Shift (2:30 p.m. - 10:45 p.m.)

Company Match Job Summary:
Our Machine Operators are responsible for producing high-quality products safely, accurately, and efficiently. Working with industrial converting equipment, you'll set up and operate machines that process adhesives, tapes, foams, films, and other materials to customer specifications. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, solving problems, paying attention to detail, and taking pride in producing quality work. We provide hands-on training, but successful candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, be comfortable reading work instructions, and be able to make accurate measurements.
Essential Responsibilities:
Safely operate converting equipment, including slitters and die cutters. Set up machines according to work orders and production requirements. Read and follow work instructions, job travelers, drawings, and customer specifications. Use rulers, tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools to verify product dimensions and quality. Perform quality checks throughout production to ensure products meet customer requirements. Make minor machine adjustments and recognize when equipment is not operating properly. Complete production records and other required documentation accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers to meet production goals. Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
We're looking for people who are: Mechanically inclined and interested in learning how manufacturing equipment works. Able to read and understand written work instructions, production documents, and basic technical drawings. Comfortable using measuring devices and performing accurate measurements. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Able to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is helpful but not required. We value mechanical ability, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
Knowledge & Skills:
Ability to read work instructions and production documentation in English. Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and measuring. Ability to accurately read a standard ruler; experience using calipers or similar measuring tools is a plus. Basic computer skills for entering production information. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequently bend, squat, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements.
Lift and move:
Up to 25 lbs. frequently Up to 40 lbs. regularly Up to 50 lbs. occasionally (team lifting or mechanical assistance available) Manual dexterity to handle materials, adjust machine components, and use measuring tools. Ability to distinguish colors when required for product identification and quality inspections. Ability to communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels.
