Job Description

Estimated start date: September 2026 About Us Sylvara Labs is a new and ambitious cosmetic manufacturer specializing in skincare, haircare, and personal care products. We provide end-to-end solutions — from formulation to filling, labeling, and packaging — helping brands bring their product vision to life. We are seeking a Compounder to join our production team. This role is responsible for mixing and preparing bulk batches of cosmetic products according to approved formulas and procedures.

What You'll Do Batch Preparation :
Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials to produce bulk batches following formulas and instructions.
Equipment Operation :
Operate mixing tanks, homogenizers, heating/cooling systems, and other manufacturing equipment safely.
Documentation :
Maintain precise batch records, ingredient logs, and production reports.
Quality Control :
Monitor batches for consistency, texture, color, and stability, and alert supervisors of any deviations.
Safety & Compliance :
Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), safety procedures, and company policies at all times.
Collaboration :
Work closely with the formulation chemist, production staff, and quality team to ensure smooth operations.
Housekeeping :
Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas after each batch.
What We're Looking For Experience :
1-3 years of experience as a compounder, mixer, or operator in cosmetics, personal care, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing. (We're open to training motivated candidates with strong mechanical aptitude.)
Skills :
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely. Basic math skills for weighing and scaling ingredients. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on feet for extended periods.
