About Us:
We're a small business specializing in custom apparel, promotional products, and personalized gifts. Our team is tight-knit, quality-focused, and passionate about what we do. We're looking for someone who's excited to grow with us and create quality, creative work.
Job Summary:
As our Embroidery Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining commercial embroidery machines to produce high-quality, custom-designed apparel and accessories. You'll also be cross-trained in other key areas of the business, such as heat press, order fulfillment, quality control, and basic customer service tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Embroidery Operations Operate and monitor embroidery machines (e.g. Tajima) Load designs and thread machines according to job specs Hoop garments and prepare materials for stitching Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy Maintain machines (cleaning, threading, minor troubleshooting) Cross-Training Areas Heat press, DTF and vinyl cutting applications Packing and shipping customer orders Basic graphic art prep (if applicable) Checking in goods, stocking and organizing inventory Occasionally assisting with front-end customer service
Qualifications:
Prior experience with embroidery machines is a plus, but we're willing to train the right candidate Comfortable working with your hands and on your feet most of the day. Attention to detail and quality-focused is a must! Willingness to learn new tasks and jump in where needed Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with strong communication skills. Bonus Skills (Not Required): Experience with digitizing software (e.g. Wilcom, Hatch, etc.) Knowledge of other decorating methods (screen printing, DTF, vinyl) Customer service or retail experience
