- Passion and Purpose We are looking to fill a Day shift Full-time Machine Operator position at our Rotomold facility in New Berlin, PA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)DETERMINES SEQUENCE OF OPERATIONS
by studying blueprints, specifications, product reports, and route codes.PREPARES MACHINE FOR PRODUCTION
by positioning and securing molds, stops, and guides.GATHERS PARTS
by pulling and verifying materials listed on product report.REGULATES MACHINES
by setting and adjusting controls.MAINTAINS SPECIFICATIONS
by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls.ENSURES OPERATION OF EQUIPMENT
by working with the Maintenance Department on a comprehensive maintenance program.OFFLOADS MOLDED PARTS FROM MACHINE
by placing items in appropriate cooling location, using specified jigs and fixtures as needed.MAINTAINS SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.MAINTAINS MOLDING DEPARTMENT APPEARANCE
by transporting materials to disposal area; recycling areasCONSERVES RESOURCES
by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.CONTRIBUTES TO TEAM EFFORT
by accomplishing related results as needed.MAINTAINS COMPLIANCE TO ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARD
by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.PERFORM ANY ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS REQUESTED. QUALIFICATIONS

- Must be able to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Must have knowledge of safety regulations.
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. on average during a normal
- working day.
- Must be able to operate computers.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence.
- Must be able to distinguish colors.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

- Steel toed shoes are required at all times.
- Must wear required PPE while on the production floor.
- Must adjust PPE to be meet requirements, as some specific areas may require additional specific items to be worn for PPE, such as bump caps, hard hats, shin guards, gloves, etc.
