FORCINE is growing our Shotcrete team and looking for motivated, reliable individuals who want to become certified nozzleman and are looking for a long-term career in construction. No prior shotcrete or nozzleman experience is required. This is a great opportunity to get paid while you learn a specialized construction skill . We will provide the training and support needed to develop your skills and work toward becoming a certified Shotcrete Nozzleman. What You'll Learn As a Shotcrete Nozzleman Trainee, you will receive hands-on training in: Proper operation and control of a shotcrete nozzle Applying shotcrete to walls, foundations, structures, and other surfaces Proper nozzle technique, material consistency, and application thickness Shotcrete equipment, hoses, and jobsite setup Shotcrete quality standards and project specifications Safe work practices and industry standards Cleaning and maintaining shotcrete equipment Working effectively with the shotcrete pump operator and crew Key Responsibilities As you develop your skills, you will: Assist the Shotcrete Nozzleman and shotcrete crew with daily operations Learn and perform shotcrete application techniques under supervision Set up, clean, and maintain shotcrete equipment and hoses Assist with material handling and jobsite preparation Follow project specifications, safety procedures, and instructions Maintain a clean and organized work area Work as part of a team to safely and efficiently complete projects Perform other construction and shotcrete-related tasks as needed We're looking for people who are: Motivated and genuinely interested in learning this trade Reliable and committed to showing up and being part of the team Hardworking with a strong work ethic Safety-minded and willing to follow direction Serious about building a long-term career Comfortable working as part of a crew Willing to learn and accept hands-on training Able to travel to different job locations as needed Able to work in various weather conditions Able to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers A valid driver's license is required Construction, concrete, masonry, labor, equipment operation, or other related experience is a plus, but not required. Physical & Work Requirements This is a physically active construction position. The essential functions of the job require standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, handling equipment and materials, and performing manual work for extended periods. Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. The position involves working indoors and outdoors and may include exposure to loud noise, moving equipment, dust, fumes, odors, mist, gases, and varying weather conditions, including periods of extreme heat and cold.
