Description Job Summary Tapco Tube has immediate openings for detailed-oriented and safety-conscious Machine Operators to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining production machinery to ensure continuous and efficient mill operations. You will also perform changeovers, and communicate effectively with the production team to meet quality and production goals. This role is perfect for someone who has strong mechanical aptitude, values teamwork and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. $2 attendance bonus and profit sharing opportunity Paid WEEKLY Start ASAP Overtime opportunities Physical Requirements Bending

Climbing up & down Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
Machine Operation:

Set up and operate equipment which may include; endwelder, Tube Mill (ERW), paint line and cut off.

Quality Control:

Conduct frequent inspections of finished tubing to ensure compliance with specifications for diameter, wall thickness, length, and weld integrity using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Tooling Changes:

Perform mill changeovers by swapping rolls, blades, and guides based on production schedules.

Monitoring & Adjustments:

Constantly monitor tube specs, communicating in real-time so adjustments can be made to prevent defects or downtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, preferably within a steel mill or metal fabrication facility.

Tool Usage:

Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, tape measures, pi tape and go/no-go gauges).

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in an industrial environment that may be loud or temperature-variable.

Safety Mindset:

Strict adherence to PPE requirements and OSHA safety standards (Lockout/Tagout, crane safety, etc.). Preferred Attributes Experience with ERW Tube Mills preferred.

Overhead crane or forklift experience preferred.
