$24.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience) 15% Shift Differential for 2nd Shift Weekly Pay Comprehensive Benefits Package Position Overview Mecca Talent is seeking an experienced Water Jet Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Mount Joy, PA. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining WardJet waterjet cutting equipment to produce high-quality precision components while meeting production schedules and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC cutting equipment, working from blueprints, and safely handling materials in a manufacturing environment. Essential Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate WardJet waterjet cutting machines according to production requirements. Verify material type, dimensions, and job specifications before beginning production. Monitor machine performance throughout production and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet engineering specifications and quality standards. Accurately complete production documentation, routing sheets, and material tracking records. Safely operate forklifts (tow motors), overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment. Identify and report quality concerns, equipment issues, and Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs) to supervisors and the Quality Department. Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and production standards. Qualifications Previous experience operating waterjet, laser, plasma, or other CNC cutting equipment preferred. Experience with WardJet or similar waterjet systems is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings. Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and precision measuring instruments. Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and work safely around industrial equipment.
