• Onsite Job Summary Kelly Services is seeking a Temporary Entry-Level Assembly Operator I to prepare equipment, assemble products, perform quality inspections, and document production results.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, motivated to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Prepare machines, equipment, and workstations for daily operations. Assemble products by following basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and written procedures. Perform visual and dimensional quality inspections. Use inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators. Complete quality inspection documentation accurately and independently. Review inspection data and make necessary process adjustments. Identify product defects and complete the required documentation and notifications. Communicate equipment, quality, or production issues to the setup personnel, technician, and supervisor. Perform quality checks to ensure products meet established standards. Complete repetitive handwork while rotating tasks throughout the day. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent experience. Manufacturing experience preferred. Experience working with mechanical systems preferred. Ability to read and write English. Basic computer navigation and data-entry skills. Ability to understand and follow written instructions and procedures. Experience using inspection or measurement equipment preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects. High energy, self-motivated, dependable, and willing to learn and advance. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Safely lift and carry at least 30 pounds on a dependable basis. Push and pull up to 180 pounds with the assistance of a hand dolly. Stand, sit, walk, and balance frequently throughout the shift. Work 8-10 hours per day as required. Perform repetitive hand movements. Work in an uncontrolled climate, including areas with excessive heat.
