Requirements:
Previous experience as a machinist or technical training or schooling in machine operation / Ability to read, understand, and follow job orders, safety instructions, and technical documents Additional ways in which a candidate may stand out would be:
  • Past experience operating various types of machines in a manufacturing environment (helpful)
  • Ability to perform set-up and change overs to produce different machine parts (helpful)
  • Knowledge of loading raw materials into a machine and unloading parts (helpful) What You Will Be Doing
  • Operate a CNC Machine safely and efficiently
  • Produce components to established quality levels and cycle times
  • Execute based on provided blue prints
  • Measure parts to ensure conformance to established specifications
  • Perform set-ups and change overs based on different parts
  • Run various machines within the manufacturing plant
  • Load raw materials and unload parts throughout shift What You Need for this Position
  • Previous experience as a machinist or technical training or schooling in machine operation
  • CNC machine operating experience (Helpful)
  • Minimum High School or Technical school
  • Past experience using micrometers, calipers, and gages
  • Basic proficiency with Mathematics
  • Experience reading and executing blueprints
  • Ability to follow safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Benefits
