Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with various machining processes. You may be responsible for operating saws and other machinery to cut materials to specified dimensions, ensuring quality and precision in every task, operate CNC and manual lathes and mills. We have availability for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. Responsibilities Operate saws, lathe OR mills and related equipment to cut or machine materials according to specifications. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Utilize basic math skills to calculate measurements and dimensions accurately. Assemble components as needed, ensuring proper fit and alignment. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain workflow efficiency. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures. Interpret engineering drawings. Qualifications Proven experience in machining or machine shops, particularly with saws, lathes, mills or similar equipment. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively and perform some maintenance is a plus. Familiarity with lathe operations, electrical discharge machining, plasma cutting, and sheet metal work is preferred. Experience with Haas, Doosan or Mazaak a plus. Experience operating cranes is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety standards and practices.
