In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality components and products. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and precision measurement will ensure efficient production processes and adherence to safety standards. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor various machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC programming equipment. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to accurately produce parts according to specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality control. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery in accordance with safety standards in production. Handle materials and tooling safely using forklifts and other shop tools while adhering to proper materials handling procedures. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, fabrication processes, and packaging operations to meet production goals efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machining equipment, including CNC programming and CAM programming knowledge. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), SolidWorks, and factory automation systems is highly desirable. Skilled in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, shop math, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and other precision measuring instruments. Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues effectively and perform basic repairs or adjustments as needed. Experience with fabrication processes including stamping, machining, assembly, and packaging within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to ensure a safe workplace for all team members. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is preferred.
