In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and precision measurement will be essential to maintaining our production standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are top priorities. Responsibilities Operate various manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, forklifts, and other industrial machinery with precision and adherence to safety standards. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts. Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming tools to set up and optimize machine operations. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Conduct dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, shop math calculations, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for quality control. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment while following strict safety protocols. Support assembly line processes by using hand tools, tooling, and fabrication techniques to meet production targets. Maintain accurate records of production activities, inspection results, and machine maintenance logs. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC equipment such as CNC lathes, mills, or machining centers in a manufacturing or factory environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with programming and setup of CNC machines using G-code or similar languages; experience with Fanuc controls is a plus. Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to perform shop math accurately for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Skilled in using precision measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators for quality assurance. Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar is advantageous for understanding design specifications. Comfortable troubleshooting industrial equipment issues quickly to minimize downtime. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely is preferred.
