  • Thursday 4:30pm to 3:00am.
, 110 hours of annual PTO, Benefits, 401k and 12 paid holidays. Responsible for operating the assigned machine(s) throughout the plant.
DUTIES INCLUDE
Operate Machines safely and follow all procedures. Strong commitment to safety Prioritize job flow based on input from production planning and supervision. Must be able to process work instructions. Measure and record data on processes while using micrometer, vernier, caliper, ruler, scale, computer etc.. Light maintenance of equipment. Use of supportive hand-tools. Read/Lookup routings, process sheets and shop orders
  • cross train, as necessary.
Maintain product traceability. Maintain accuracy in alloy identification, order documentation and data entry. Recognize and communicate quality issues through the process. Ability to lift 50 lbs or operate hoist for heavier material. Ability to routinely troubleshoot or problem-solve issues. Work closely with engineering support to identify opportunity for material and process improvement. Ability to step up and down steps frequently and stand for long periods of time Ability to work in high heat environment with ambient temperatures up to 105° Deg. F Ability to see small defects in inspection process. Ability to operate other machines as assigned. All other work assigned and overtime as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Work in a Manufacturing environment is a must. Good communications skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently and meet deadlines. Ability to do basic math
PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS
Ability to frequently lift and/or drag 50 lbs throughout the shift. Ability to operate and maneuver hoists for material loads of 200 lbs. Ability to push 200+ lbs on wheels. Ability to frequently bend, squat, and reach throughout shift. Ability to work with and around hot material. Ability to frequently work with vibratory tools. Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to walk for extended periods of time.
EDUCATION
Position requires a High School education/GED with some experience in a manufacturing environment.
