Job Description

Slitter Assistant Job Description:

Helps the operator keep the slit line operating to its full potential.

Job Tasks:

Set up the overhead arm for uncoiler on slit line. Help unload/load material Assist operator with banding material before the next process. Notify of any defects/problems in each coil/strip Band each individual coil according to requirements. During downtime help package material to necessary standard or requirement. Keep work environment clean.

Requirements:

A high school diploma/GED is required. Being able to read and understand measurements or fractions. Operation of overhead crane is preferred and operation of forklift is required. Be a team player.
