Job Description

Nesco Resource is currently seeking a dependable Warper Tender position. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring warping equipment used to prepare yarn for the weaving process. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Operate and monitor warping machines and related textile equipment. Load yarn packages, cones, or beams onto equipment as required. Thread yarn through guides, tension devices, and machine components. Monitor yarn tension and machine operation to ensure consistent production. Identify and repair yarn breaks, tangles, or other minor production issues. Inspect yarn and finished warp beams for defects or quality concerns. Perform machine start-ups, changeovers, and basic adjustments. Remove completed warp beams and prepare equipment for the next production run. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Keep assigned equipment and surrounding work areas clean and organized. Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures. Qualifications Previous textile, warping, weaving, spinning, or machine operating experience preferred. Ability to work around yarn, fibers, and moving manufacturing equipment. Strong attention to detail and quality. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Must be dependable and able to work effectively as part of a production team.
