HM Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Machine Direction Orientation (MDO) Operator to join our client's team on a long-term basis for second shift. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, quality-driven, and capable of operating and troubleshooting blown film extrusion and MDO equipment while maintaining production efficiency and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor MDO and blown film extrusion equipment. Perform machine setups, product changeovers, start-ups, and shutdowns. Complete production documentation and enter production orders. Monitor product quality and verify specifications. Troubleshoot process and equipment issues related to multilayer blown film production. Minimize downtime and material waste while maintaining production schedules. Safely transition and purge nylon and EVOH materials during product changeovers. Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and quality teams. Follow all safety, GMP, and operating procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Required Qualifications Blown film extrusion experience is required. Experience operating 3- to 5-layer blown film lines . Ability to independently perform setups, changeovers, start-ups, and shutdowns. Knowledge of blown film processing, quality control, and troubleshooting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. Preferred Qualifications Experience operating W&H (Windmöller & Hölscher) equipment . Experience with Machine Direction Orientation (MDO) processing . Knowledge of nylon and EVOH material handling and transitions. Advanced troubleshooting experience in multilayer blown film operations.
