Job Description
Nesco Resource is currently seeking dependable and safety-focused Spunlace Machine Operators to join a growing nonwoven manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment used in the manufacturing of spunlace/nonwoven materials while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards. Responsibilities Operate and monitor spunlace/nonwoven production equipment. Set up, start, stop, and make basic adjustments to production machinery. Monitor fiber web formation, material flow, water-jet/hydroentanglement processes, and finished product quality. Load raw materials and assist with material changes and machine changeovers. Monitor machine settings, speeds, temperatures, pressures, and other production parameters. Perform visual quality inspections and identify defects or inconsistencies in finished material. Troubleshoot minor machine and production issues. Document production information, quality checks, downtime, and material usage. Assist with preventive maintenance and routine equipment cleaning. Follow lockout/tagout, PPE, and all plant safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work closely with quality, maintenance, and production team members to minimize downtime and meet production goals. Qualifications Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred. Textile, nonwoven, spunlace, converting, winding, or similar production experience is a plus. Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to quality and detail. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks. Dependable attendance and willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.
