The purpose of the role:

To ensure vinyl fence boards meet all quality and customer specification requirements. Perform product-specific adjustments and general maintenance on a twin-screw extruder to ensure efficient run-time and production.

Requirements:

Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Have the ability to use micrometers, calipers, and hand tools. Must keep safety in mind at all times as this job requires the ability to work safely around the extruders in narrow, small spaces, on damp and/or wet floors, and will be exposed to dyes and plastic at high temperatures. Must be able to work a rotating 12-hour day or night shifts. Possess good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and teaming ability Have high school diploma or GED is required and a minimum of 2 years machine operating experience, or 1 year CNC experience, or technical school training in CNC operation., or experience at Barrette.
