Extruder Operator Location:
Dunlap, TN, 37327
Position Functions:
Set up and operation of Extruder / UHF line / Automatic cutter. Perform and record measurements of part dimensions and check for aesthetic appearance. Read and diagnose errors from machine display. Block release of faulty parts and units as instructed. Save and load tool data / tool files to the memory system. Cut profiles according to print specifications. Record inspection data as required. Achieve company standard times and scrap levels. Ensure proper supply of material to the workplace, including rubber compound material. Package semi-finished and finished goods in line with production order and packaging visualization. Maintain a safe and clean production area. Educational Level for
Position:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred Experience (Not Required): Rubber extrusion and vulcanization processes. Setting and calibrating machine parameters. Reading and understanding technical drawings, calipers, rulers, and metric system. Basic knowledge of mechanics, machinery, and equipment. Independent and solution-oriented philosophy. Penchant for quality. Special Skills /
Qualifications Needed:
Strong work ethic and teamwork skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities. Proficiency with hand coordination and dexterity. Ability to read and understand bills of materials, routers, and work instructions. Normal or corrected vision necessary to read prints and closely examine parts. Able to lift at least 25 lbs.
