Duties Operate packaging machinery and hand tools to assemble, pack, and seal products accurately and efficiently. Follow detailed instructions to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and other safety standards. Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance on packaging lines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Utilize warehouse experience and forklift skills to move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies safely around the facility. Inspect products for quality defects, ensuring only compliant items are packaged for shipment. Assist in inventory management by accurately recording packaging activities and completing necessary documentation. Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to operate hand tools confidently. Familiarity with packaging processes, assembly lines, or related manufacturing tasks. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus for understanding automated equipment. Knowledge of FDA regulations and CGMP standards to ensure compliance during packaging operations. Ability to operate a forklift safely; certification is advantageous but not required. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
