Batch Operator Job Description As a Batch Operator, you will be responsible for blending powders in the mixing department. You will meticulously follow specific batch instructions and precise measurements of ingredients to ensure quality production. This role requires the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities Blend powders according to specific batch instructions. Follow precise measurements of ingredients. Operate machinery and ensure smooth production processes. Maintain adherence to GMP standards and quality assurance protocols. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Participate in packaging and compounding tasks. Essential Skills Machine operation experience. Experience with mixing and compounding. Understanding of GMP standards. Ability to perform quality assurance tasks. Work Environment The facility manufactures a bleach-based outdoor cleaning agent, resulting in a slight odor in the environment. It is non-climate controlled, and proper PPE such as steel toes, eye protection, and ear protection are required. You will be working the 2nd shift from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am, Monday to Thursday, with initial training on the 1st shift for two months. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manchester, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
