The Machine Operator - Packaging operates machines used to package high-quality records. This position is also required to check the finished product for good quality.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Start and shut down machines & monitor their operations
• Analyze quality and/or machine data to identify trends, implement corrections and make suggestions for improvements
• Operates machinery and equipment according to instructions
• Performs routine inspections to equipment/machinery
• Trains other associates as needed/requested
• Make necessary adjustments to maintain quality of finished product
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned production area
• Consistently meet production schedule plan by reading and understanding the schedule
• Complete necessary documentation for jobs being packaged and completed
• Maintain a constant visual on product produced and perform visual quality inspections on records wrapped on your machines
• Determine and report wrap and product malfunctions to appropriate personnel
• Communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, leads and other associates
• Maintains a positive relationship with employees and visitors
• Follow all safety and company policies and procedures
• Complies with all safety and health regulations
• Other related duties as assigned
